Senior Accountant (Project Support)

Orange Systems is looking for a new colleague to fill in the position of Senior Accountant (Project Support) to work with our International Partners.

As a Senior Accountant (Project Support), you’ll be responsible for finance complex activities and support in project design and implementation.


what you will be doing:

 

  • Participate in finance/ accounting complex activities (IFRS and tax areas)
  • Create and harmonize Chart of Accounts
  • Cost Centre structure set-up in collaboration with Controlling team
  • Focus on the structure of the chart of accounts, and the ability to automate cost reporting
  • Define accounting standards and create accounting manual
  • Prepare monthly cost reporting and take responsibility for improving the data
  • Explain key variances against budget
  • Support implementation in accounting/ finance projects 
     

what we are looking for:

  • Finance/ Accounting university degree
  • 2 - 3 years of experience in accounting/ finance
  • Fluency in English, German nice to have
  • Confident user of MS Office, especially MS Excel and MS Word
  • Knowledge of IFRS and consolidation experience would be an advantage
  • Tax knowledge (basic), incl. Transfer pricing experience
  • Project experience nice to have
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High responsibility and attention to details skills
  • Good organizational and planning skills
  • Good communication skills
